Bates Meyer is working on music research and licensing for the documentary “The Loneliest Man in Town,” about Austrian guitar virtuoso Al Cook.  An accomplished blues musician in his homeland, Cook (who turns 80 this year), is not duly recognized in other parts of the world  The film follows the artist as he struggles against the loss of his home.  The soundtrack includes classics from Robert Johnson and Tampa Red as well as Cook’s own music.
