Bates Meyer is clearing music for the documentary “Free Chol Soo Lee.”  Lee was a Korean American death row inmate who was wrongfully convicted of a 1973 Chinatown gang murder in San Francisco. His case sparked a landmark movement, uniting Asian Americans as never before. The project is under the umbrella of ITVS and the Center For Asian American Media.
