Bates Meyer, Inc. and the Open Sky Music Foundation, Inc. jointly supported a tour of young musicians throughout Italy.  Chamberfest Italy 2022 consisted of rehearsals and concerts in historic locations June 28 – July 12.  Meyer traveled with the group as a student mentor. In addition to a performance at the Pantheon in Rome, the youth orchestra played at the 17th-century Chiesa di San Filippo Neri in Florence (pictured).
