The Derricks Legacy (BMI), the family publishing company of the
late Reverend Cleavant Derricks has renewed its administration deal with
Capitol CMG, a division of Universal Music Publishing Group.  Bates Meyer represents the heirs of Reverend Derricks and their catalog which includes many Gospel treasures, most notably “Just
A Little Talk With Jesus” which has been recorded by George Jones, The Oak
Ridge Boys, Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn, The Statler Brothers and the Million
Dollar Quartet featuring Elvis Presley, to name only a few.
