The documentary “Free Chol Soo Lee” will premier at the January 2022 Sundance Film Festival.  Bates Meyer handled music clearance for this film about Soo Lee, a Korean American who was wrongly convicted of a 1973 gang murder in San Francisco’s Chinatown. His story ignited an influential Pan-Asian movement.  The project will have its debut broadcast on “PBS Independent Lens.”
